Guilds
There isn't much information at all about Guilds in GW2 right now. Here IS whats available to us, pulled straight from the official wiki, enjoy:
Guilds will be in GW2, with major changes from the original Guild Wars. From the very start of the game, we will be able to join or start a guild. They won't be racially-exclusive, and each character on an account can join a different guild if that's what they want to do. However, any characters on one account will show as a single member on a roster. Like, how in any of the past games, if I joined a guild on a main toon of mine, I'd need invites for all of my alts too. Not any more. Also, a player's loyalty to their guild will be rewarded in game IF their guild controls keeps in World vs World.
Efforts have been made to give guilds more "common" purpose with the introduction of guild achievements. This means that ArenaNet wants guilds to be more focused on specific goals, like PvE over PvP, or vice-versa. Guild members will be made clearly visible for other members of the guild, so will be easily found on a map and their current activity can be seen on the roster. Out-of-game support for guilds will be improved: The guild calendar, which allows guilds to coordinate events across timezones, and also guild chat will be accessible from web browsers.
All I know is that ArenaNet will deliver on this. I have complete faith in every one of them. I can't wait for them to reveal the rest of the info on this topic. We've all been waiting so patiently! AHH... Oh, and just wondering, what's every ones take on player housing? GW2 doesn't have it that I know of. But I absolutely loved my little house in the Shire! lol (LOTRO) I've also been known to spend days on-end playing around with the Sims. Not the people, just creating and decorating buildings. haha
